E-commerce lost revenue calculator — how to read the result
The simulator above estimates the gap between a store's current revenue and the revenue it could reach once its conversion rate is brought up to a healthy market level. The tool was built by the PUSH e-commerce engineering team on the back of 10+ years of implementations and online store optimisation, including projects for manufacturers and distributors.
How do we calculate the lost revenue?
Example: 30,000 sessions × (2.0% − 1.0%) × 250 PLN = 75,000 PLN per month, or 900,000 PLN per year. For stores converting above 2.0% we apply an advanced model: +20% on current sales volume through A/B tests and micro-optimisations.

For most Polish online stores a healthy level is 1.5–2.5%. B2B stores and manufacturers with a complex quoting process usually operate in the 0.6–1.2% range, while mature fashion and beauty brands exceed 2.5%. What matters is comparing against your own history and your industry, not against an internet average. The calculator uses a conservative 2.0% benchmark — if your number is lower, the gap is a revenue reserve you can recover without buying more traffic.
Average e-commerce cart abandonment is 68–75%. The most common causes: unexpected delivery costs, forced registration, limited payment methods and a lack of trust at the final step. A useful control formula: lost revenue = abandoned carts × AOV × realistic recovery rate (typically 8–12% recoverable through marketing automation). Our calculator aggregates this effect into the 45/35/20 split.
From PUSH experience: tightening the checkout flow and the product page typically returns 18–34% of the recovered amount within 90 days. Example: with a loss of 75,000 PLN per month, the realistic, measurable gain is 13,500–25,500 PLN per month — purely from higher conversion of existing traffic. The condition: correct GA4 analytics, prioritised changes and validation through A/B tests.
No. It is an estimate of potential based on a benchmark, not a sales forecast. The actual outcome depends on margin, product availability, pricing versus competitors and traffic quality. That is why we recommend confirming every result with a free PUSH audit: we review the buying journey, GA4/GTM analytics and page speed, then present a plan with an estimated impact.
The recommended PUSH order: 1) measurement — correct GA4 events, server-side tracking, Consent Mode v2; 2) checkout — reduce it to a minimum, payments and delivery above the fold; 3) product page — presentation, reviews, availability; 4) mobile performance; 5) marketing automation — abandoned cart recovery. Only on a cleaned-up foundation do we launch A/B tests.
The calculator works for owners and e-commerce managers who want to size the problem in 15 seconds. The buying journey audit is the next step for stores above 50,000 PLN of monthly revenue, manufacturers and B2B companies planning to scale. The audit ends with a concrete, prioritised list of changes and an estimated revenue impact — book it through the form on this page or by calling 721 725 577.
